Learning From My Wagering Errors

First to clarify the reason I wrote this article. I have been betting on the web or at land based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even realize it up until you are broke. Especially if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny period of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you decide to track your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It does not works. Then you become sick in your belly and the harder you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you notice that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this concept hardly ever works. Say you are betting on slot games, have an amount set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, no matter how alluring. If you actually win, put that in a different cup. Do not use your profits no matter what. Once you have played through your primary set limit, stop. Leave, regardless if it is on the net or at a land-based casino, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be another day, another time.

Always remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the loss, don’t even begin.
