Cambodia Casinos

There is a captivating story to the Cambodia casinos that sit just over the dividing line from nearby Thailand, where gambling den gambling is against the law. Eight gambling dens are based in a relatively small location in the metropolis of Poipet in Cambodia. This conclave of Cambodia gambling dens is in a prime location, a three to four hour travel from Bangkok and Macao, the 2 largest gaming centers in Asia. Cambodia gambling halls do a thriving business with Thai workers and guests from Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, with only very few Westerners. The phenomenal income gained from the gambling halls ranges from 7.5 million dollars to more than 12.5 million, and there are a number of restrictions requirements for casino ownership. Ownership is assumed to be mainly Thai; however, financing sources are vague. The borders are ceremoniously open from 09:00 to 1700, and despite the fact visas are allegedly necessary to cross, there are means around this, as is accurate of most border crossings.
The original Cambodia casinos opened in Phnom Penh in the mid nineties, but were required to close in 1998, leaving only 1 gambling hall in the capital, the Naga Resort. The Naga, a stationary ship gambling den, features 150 slot machine games and 60 tables. The Naga casino never closes with forty two tables of mini-baccarat, 4 tables of twenty-one, 10 of roulette, two of Caribbean Stud Poker, and 1 each of Pai-Gow and Tai-Sai.
The initial gambling hall in Poipet, the Holiday Palace, premiered in the late nineties and the Golden Crown soon followed. A total of one hundred and fifty slots and 5 tables at the Golden Crown and one hundred and four one armed bandits and sixty eight gaming tables at the Holiday Palace. The latest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort contains three hundred slot machines and seventy tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 slot machine games and ninety six gaming tables, including eighty seven baccarat (the most popular game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five slot machines and sixty six of the common table games, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. An additional of the eight gambling dens in Poipet, also in a hotel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six one armed bandits and ninety seven games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an international resort and hotel complex that features numerous luxuries aside from the gambling den, which houses 10,000 sq.ft. of one hundred and thirty slots and eighty eight table games.
