There are several other popular Iowa gambling dens, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 sq.ft., 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.
A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 slot machines, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend water based, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slots, and 14 table games. An additional Iowa river boat gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is open 24 hours, with 24,939 sq.ft., 1,100 slots, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot river boat gambling den in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday chemin de fer events.
Iowa casinos offer an excellent amount of tax revenue to the state of Iowa, which has permitted the funding of a lot of state wide projects. Visitors have increased at an accelerated percentage accompanied with the demand for processors and a gain in jobs. Iowa gambling halls have contributed to the advancement of the economy, and the enthusiasm for gaming in Iowa is widespread.
