If you like to have a cocktail every now and then, leave your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks at home. Pack only the money you expect to spend on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you anticipate to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You may well have a success following a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a long toss at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. The pair simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash at home might be a little bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is essential. If you wager to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your assets nary a worry, then drink all the free alcohol you are able to handle, but do not pack plastic credit and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your hooched up head squanders every little thing!
